Seeing customers in the shop purchasing these Halco lures plus the single hooks and split rings made me want to provide the single hook option factory fitted. I personally chose the VMC single hooks and Halco split rings to suit and tested the lures extensively in all conditions and at various trolling speeds and the lures performed perfectly!
Changing the hooks and split rings on these lures costs between $10 to $13 a lure so this factory fitted option saves you money and time!
Single hooks are the best option for targeting fish like Tuna because they generally swallow lures and the single hook gives a more secure hook up, makes catch and release more efficient and and causes less pain / damage to the fish.
