The splashdown sinker clip system allows the bait and sinker to travel together during the cast rather than being separate doing a helicopter.
This results in longer casts or casts with less effort required from the angler.
The other big benefit is that your bait has more chance of remaining intact as you presented it before the cast.
These rigs are hand made by Bruce Baddeley using premium quality Varivas 80lb trace line , splashdown clips from the UK , Virus Tackle Jab SS HD 8/0 Circles with slight offsets, UV Lumo skirts and a UV pompano float to help keep the bait of the bottom. (This does a lot for its tiny size)
